SXSW has started posting the list of the 2010 Showcasing Bands on their website!
There are lots of new bands I haven't heard from before. The best new band name so far is a tie between The Uglysuit and Goober and the Peas (no idea what they sound like). I also see a few bands that are favorites from past years, including We are Scientist, Waco Brothers, Deer Tick (check out Easy), Frighten Rabbit, etc. Soon it will be time to download the torrent and listen to the tracks from the band so I can start planning my schedule of who to catch and prioritize the bands.
Only 113 days to go! :-)
