I almost missed
The Temper Trap's set at the Filter Magazine's Showdown at Cedar Street. I love seeing shows at Cedar Street and Filter always does a good job of bringing in great bands, but this year it was just over flowing. And the line of people trying to get in was huge (like huge for SXSW even). Thank goodness they had a separate line for SXSW badge holders and that I arrived early. The Temper Trap was one of the best sounding bands I saw at SXSW and they really got the crowd moving. Everyone went crazy when they played Sweet Disposition! Thank goodness I got in!
