Yes, SXSW is crazy! Way too many shows to see and not even close to enough time! So you have to take advantage of the day parties to squeeze in a few more sets in the day.
I have enjoyed Filter Magazine's "Showdown at Cedar Street" the last two years and this year is looking like it is going to be great again. Miike Snow is closing out the day on Thursday. On Friday there is a great line up including Delta Spirit, The Temper Trap, BRMC, and Dr. Dog. And on Saturday two of the "have to catch sets" include Athlete and Frightened Rabbit.
Can't beat the free BBQ too!
